(Wedding Invite)

I just found the cutest wedding invitation! It's even a J, now I just need to find someone with a T name....hmm, too bad no one comes to mind. I would for sure change the colors though so I guess the letter could be changed too! The idea is definitely there!

Happy Birthday Lukas!

My cute little nephew Lukas turned 5 yesterday! I cannot believe how fast all my nieces and nephews are growing up. Time sure does fly. I still remember the day Luke was born. I don't know why but I took an extra special liking to this little guy from day one! I love him to pieces!

Maybe it's just me...

I love listening to music. I am always listening to music...at home, at the gym, in the car, at work. My newest purchase is the new Secondhand Serenade CD, A Twist in My Story. It is SO good, a must have! My favorites are 3 and 5...funny because they are on the first album, Awake, but thay are redone and are just so good. I bought the first CD, Awake, the day before I left to Italy last May and listened to it the whole flight over! Then I ran to it everyday while there. I don't know why, it just fit. Now John Vesely's voice will forever remind me of that one time in Italy...

A few of my favorite things

I just wanted to share a few of my favorite (material) things in life....
in no particular order
1. Purses!
I love darling bags! My favorite are Just Be, that's all I use anymore. They are all SO cute and different. The company's moto is "There is beauty in individuality." If I hear Jeni say a bag is a one of a kind, I buy it! You can find them here or wait until I do an open house and get a much better deal.
2. Shoes!
I don't always love to wear shoes, but I love to buy them! Especially great Italian leather shoes. I found a great shoe store in Venice and I bought 3 pair of shoes! When I was in Italy this past summer I came home with more than a dozen pairs of new shoes! Some call me crazy, but I love when people ask where I got them from to be able to say "Oh, just in ITALY!"
I can't bring myself to pay $210.00 for these, even though I love them!
3. Jeans!
You can't beat a good pair of jeans...no matter the cost! It is hard to find jeans that are just right, so when I do, I buy them. I only have 2 pair that I really love. One pair from Banana Republic and one pair from Nordstroms - David Kahn Jeans. My all time favorite have been sadly discontinued, they are Lucky Brand Jet Setter Jeans. Best jeans I EVER had! I wore those things completly out!

4. Scrapbook Stuff!
I love to buy cute paper, ribbon, embellishments, anything to use in my scrapbooks or other projects. I am so far behind, but I still buy! One day I will use it all up! I am now half way done with my Italy books! I am pretty excited about that!

*NEW* Basic Grey line I am so excited about!

5. Jewelry!
I love antique jewelry so much! Something about one of a kind finds that I just can't pass up! I like all jewelry though. I also love Tiffany's in New York. I decided that everytime I go to New York I will buy something from there. I have been 3 times and have 2 necklaces. (This idea only started the second time I went, hence only having 2 things!) I am going again in April so I need to be looking for my next purchase! There really is something special about that little blue box!

This just might be it!

I did it...

I figured since I love to look at other peoples blogs that maybe I should make my own too! Somtimes things will happen in my day to day life and I think, "I should blog about that." Now I can. We'll see how this goes...
