Last week Kristy, Eliza and I made the trek to Ohio to visit Vicki.
We had such a good time and it was so fun to see Vicki.
It was one of those trips that you don't have an agenda
or anything planned really.
It was just nice to relax and all be together.
We left Wednesday morning.
We got there and just hung out at Vicki's that night.
Thursday we went to Main Street in Sylvania
and shopped the cute stores and had lunch.
We went to get the kids and then went to a pumpkin patch.
When I say pumpkin patch,
I mean this was a serious patch.
Pumpkins, animals, flowers, gift shop.
It was so beautiful!
After the patch we went back for dinner and hung out at the house.
Friday morning we got up and got ready to head to the
Henry Ford Museum in Detroit.
It was really fun.
We started in Greenfield Village.
It was so interesting and fun to see and learn all the history there.
We rode the train, the first ever carousel, rode in original model T cars,
went in some of the homes, rode a horse drawn carriage.
Then we headed inside for lunch
and the actual museum part.
We went back and had dinner, watched a movie and just hung out.
Brian got home that night so it was fun to catch up with him too.
Saturday we got up and went for a walk in a beautiful park by Vicki's.
Then we got ready and headed to the airport.
Sad to leave.
We had so much fun visiting Ohio!
Vicki is the best.
I think I have said it before, but she is one of my heroes.
She is amazing in so many ways.
I love her and look up to her in so many ways.
And she sure knows how to take care of guests.
She always made us delicious meals and made sure we had a good time.
It was also so fun to be with Kristy and Eliza.
I love them!
Kristy is amazing too and I am so lucky to have her.
It was a great weekend with some of my very favorite people.
Can't wait till next time!
Thank you Kristy (and Ben) and Vicki!
