sun city

We had plans to go to Arizona over New Year's
but Ryan and Hunter got sick so we decided to postpone.

We finally went over President's Day weekend.

It was so nice to get out of the gross Utah air and see the sunshine.
I think we all needed it!

We left Friday afternoon.
Traveling with a baby is a lot of work!
Luckily Hunter is really good so that makes it a lot easier.

When we got to the house they had the funnest pirate party planned for Hunter's birthday.
We had yummy dinner, funny costumes, cake, presents and even a pinata!

Hunter loved having a little friend his size to play with and get into trouble with!

We called it night after the party.
Luckily Hunter slept pretty well on this trip, thank heavens.

Saturday morning Ryan and I went to the Phoenix temple.
We missed the session but did sealings which was nice.

We went to see Alicia's house then all met at Rachel's pool.
We had pizza, swam and enjoyed the sun.

We got ready and went to take family pictures of the Perkins.
We lost sun and child cooperation quickly so we went for a drive after and then to dinner.

Sunday was Valentine's Day.
We just relaxed around the house and then went to 2pm church.
We only lasted an hour and then came home for nap.

We had dinner and looked at family slides.

Monday we went on a hot hot hike at Lake Pleasant.
It was fun to see all the cactus and nature there.

We got showered and packed up and headed to the airport to fly home.
Hunter was a little more restless this time but luckily it's a short flight.

We never have enough time to stay when we visit Arizona!
Hopefully we can go again soon!

Thanks to Ryan's parents for hosting us!

Provo City Center Temple

We went to the Provo City Center Temple open house on Saturday.
It was beautiful weather and such a fun date with my boys.

I don't even have words to describe the beauty of this temple.
It took my breath away!
I just kept saying
'This is amazing, incredible! Look how beautiful!'
Even the door hinges were ornate.

The next photos are interior pictures from various church news articles and websites.
I loved it so much I have to share.
