We went to Snowbird last week to ride the tram.
We had the Salt Lake Connect passes and this was the last thing to do before they expired.
Funny that we picked to go during Oktoberfest without knowing
so it was a little busy but we still had fun.
Even with our fear of heights!

We went and had some butter, I mean dinner at Texas Roadhouse after.

Hunter loves animals these days.
It was fun to get to go to the zoo with daddy.
It was the best day, other than the heat!

The highlights were the giraffes eating, all the lions together, the bird show and the new baby giraffe.
We could have watched the baby giraffe and Hunter's giraffe face all day!

camp Piuta

I had the opportunity to spend a week with the Young Women in our ward at girls camp.

What a week we had!

I loved getting to know these amazing girls
and share laughs, tears and some great experiences with them.
{we even shared some mice at 4am}

I was nervous to leave home and especially Hunter.
I was nervous entering into the unknown of caring for these girls that I hardly knew.
I was nervous when everything seemed to go wrong the days before leaving.

But somehow, everything worked out perfectly.
Everything went smoothly and everyone was safe and had fun.

I loved watching these girls.
All so different yet they all got along and enjoyed spending time together.
They worked together, played together and grew together.

I am so thankful for this experience.
It really reminded me of the special times I had as a young woman going to camp.
Those are some of my fondest memories growing up
and some of my best friendships made.

I hope these girls will look back in 20 years and have those same feelings.

dinosaurs and curiosity

We went to Thanksgiving Point the day Ryan was off for the 24th.
It was so fun to have a whole day together.

We went to the Ancient Life museum and the Natural Curiosity museum.
We were all worn out by the end of the day!

There was so much to see Hunter had to point with both hands!

true friends

Stacy and Amanda were in town at the same time last week so we got together for lunch.
It was so good to see and catch up with this girls.
We share some great memories!

We go way back to junior high, which feels like forever ago!
Six kids, 15+ years and many states,
but yet it seems like yesterday we were goofing off at Shopko and calling our parents for rides.

I sure love these girls!
