'tis the season

We had such a great Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
I can't believe the holidays are over and we are on to another year.

Christmas Eve started with a lovely brunch at Little America for my family party.
It was just so much fun go eat and be together.
Some of went over to the Grand America after to enjoy the windows.
It was a lovely morning.

That night was the annual Larsen Christmas Eve.
We had soup, the nativity and talent show.

We came home for stories and jammies.

Christmas morning we woke to SO much snow!
And it continued to snow all day long.
It was such a perfect morning!
Hunter loved all of his gifts,
we only did a few since he doesn't know or care yet.
It was so fun to see him so excited for every tiny thing that happened!

We had a yummy breakfast then went to church.
We rested after church then went to visit my dad and grandma.
We called Ryan's family and called it a night.

My 32nd birthday came and went.

The older I get the more I just want to not make and clean up dinner and spend time with my loves.
We had yummy pizza at Ti Amo and went to Temple Square to see the lights.
My favorite birthday tradition.

It was a great day!

angels from the realms of glory

We were lucky to get 2 tickets to the
Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert.
Actually we were not lucky, Ryan's sister got them for us.
I had as many people trying as I could and we only ended up with 2 Thursday tickets.
The first come method was crazy!
I prefer the lottery method!

Temple Square is just so beautiful
and the concert was great.

festival of trees

I made an advent calendar of things for us to do this December.
One of our activities was the Festival of Trees.
We went Saturday night and it was BUSY!
It was a fun little activity though.
We saw lots of trees and watched some dance performances.
Hunter loved all the Christmas tree lights.

go jazz

Ryan got Jazz tickets from work Tuesday so we ventured out in the cold to go.
It was past Hunter's bedtime but he loved it!
He clapped and cheered and jumped up and down!
The usher gave him a pin that he held very carefully for the first little bit.
I sure love seeing the world through his little eyes.

If only we all could find so much joy in the little things in life
and be so innocent and loving.
