Sorensens See Hawaii {day 4}

February 14, 2017

We finally made it Punalu'u bakery to start the day.
This bakery was on my list to try and only a minute from the house.
Those malasadas did not disappoint!

Then we headed to Kona to spend the day at the beach.
We stopped at Kua Bay but quickly realized there was no beach left,
it was all washed up.
There was a beautiful view though.

We found another beautiful beach and enjoyed the day at Kahalu'u.
Hunter loves loves the ocean!
It was so fun playing with him in the water.

We snuck away without Hunter and did some snorkeling.
It was so neat to to see how beautiful it was in the water.

We even saw a huge sea turtle.
I loved seeing the turtle in the wild!
It was so much fun!

After a great day at the beach we sent Hunter with Janae, Dennis and Rachel.
He seemed to have a great time relaxing on the beach with grandma.

Ryan and I headed to the Marriott where our luau was.
We found out earlier in the day that we could shower in their spa.
That was a lifesaver for the day.

We got showered and went and enjoyed the luau.
They had a little pre party where they had
hula dancing, tattoos, drinks and showed the Kalua pig coming out.

The Luau was really fun!
Fun show, good food and a beautiful location.
We had all the traditional Hawaiian Luau food.
I am so glad it worked out for us to go without Hunter.
He would have loved it but it was more enjoyable without him!

It ended up being a great day and a wonderful Valentine's Day!
